Celebrating AAPI Heritage Through Art, Culture & Community

In collaboration with the Museum of Science in Boston, TheARTBOX and artist KimThy were commissioned to create the official visual design for the Museum’s 2026 AAPI Heritage Month celebration.

 

This partnership honors the contributions, histories, and lived experiences of Asian American and Pacific Islander communities through art, storytelling, and STEAM engagement.

BEN & JERRY'S
UNITY MURAL
JUNE 2020

In partnership with Ben + Jerry’s Boston, artist KimThy created a Unity Mural in Boston’s Seaport District to honor Pride Month and celebrate inclusivity, love, and self-expression.

 

What began as a public art installation to promote Pride evolved into an official design featured on stickers and community merchandise, continuing to spread a message of support and belonging 365 days a year.
